child custody
Im at a loss and dont know what to do. 2 1/2 years ago my husband and I had to move out of florida because of his job, my ex boyfriend put up such a fight about me taking our son that I thought it would be the right thing to do by letting our son stay with him, and I would get to see our son when every I wanted. we came to an agreement with out going back to court, ( I have legal primary place of residence ) things have gotten worse with my ex and I he has now started limiting my sons stay with me and has been telling my son that I just left him in florida and that I cant afford to pay for him. My son is coming for a visit in a few weeks and I am going to keep my son with me. I have already been told my court papers will stand up in New York, but Im worried about what to expect as fall out.I have 2 other small children a 5 yr old and a 1 year old.Am I still within my rights? What are my options? Will I be arrested for keeping my son with me?

The whole thing depends on what is in your last court order.
Because I do not know the exact content - it is difficult to answer this one.
You won't be arrested unless your spouse holds a Motion for Contempt hearing and the judge
orders an arrest. But that is VERY unlikely. The greater chance is a judge may sign a child pickup order.
