    Question Separation Social Security minor child

    I am married to a man that collects Social Security myself and my son, not my husbands son, collect benefits on my husbands social security, we are currently separated and need to know when our benefits will end is it when the decree is finalized ? I did not work while we were married and living in the same home, now I do not live there but do work my son is 14 years old. We are planning to not finalize the divorce for a few years. how will this affect the spousal social security or dependants social security ?
