    Default Appealing Custody

I was wondering if anyone can answer a few questions for me. I recently won custody of my daughter after a 5 year custody battle. Originally my ex hub won the temporary custody, but when we went back to court, the judgeicon decdided to give me custody. My lawyer told me that you could not appeal a family custody issue in Florida, but it could be taken back to court for contempts. Now I am being told from my Ex, that he is appealing the custody? is this possible and if so, what are the grounds?

You can appeal any court order - within 30 days of the order. Appeals are a complex issue so there are no specific grounds. It depends on the content of the order.
