Default Child Support and parental rights.

My husband and I are looking to get a divorce. When we calculated the child supporticon, it came out to almost 1/3 of his take home pay. With his other expenses, this will not leave him enough to live. If I agree to the reduced amount of child support, will a judgeicon grant it?

People are telling my husband if he moves out of the house, he could lose his parental rights to the kids from abandonment. Is there a way to protect his rights before we file the petition for divorce?

If the two of you are in agreement on everything, the way to protect everyone's rights is to draft and sign a marital settlement agreement BEFORE anyone moves.

Yes, you can lower the child supporticon a certain amount through agreement.
