Pending divorce

My wife and I are looking to get divorced after 3 and a half years of marriage. I make $38,000 a year and she makes $12,500 a year. We lived with her family until we separated so I was not supporting her financially. My earnings went into my bank accounts and her earnings went into her bank accounts, but our bank accounts were under both of our names. I have about $40,000 saved up and she has about $500 saved up.
Questions:
1. Am I going to have to give up half of my savings to her?
2. What if my savings were in a bank account solely under my name and not hers?
