    Default want to be smart

what is the most efficiant way to complete a contested divorce in orange county fl? The wife left and now resides in tazzwell county il and would be considered non conpliant, boardering on hostile. there are no children, no property. the marriage was less than 1year. some very small issues over personel belongings. when she left she left most of her belongings in my possetion.one strange addition when she left she took my dog, which was purchaced way before we even met, registered in my name, with all records and certificates in my name. her responce via email was when i return,(no time frame specified) and my belongings are in order i'll give the dog back. i realize that this all seems petty,to the point of embarrassing - and to complicate matters my lease is up in less than a month,(she is not on the lease) sorry for the long post thank you for any knowledge that you can offer

You need to file a Notice for Trial. This will ultimately result in the court setting the final hearing / trial. Everything should be complete at that point.
