Will I go to jail?
I have not paid child support in 3 months for for three young children. My ex-wife has filed papers for contempt and I wrote the judge twlling her I lost my job living in Naples, FL with Jeanette soon to be wife. I can no longer pick those kids every other weekend. She also attempted to get my driving priviledges suspeneded, but I sent a letter and stopped that process. How long will it be before the judge try to put me in jail. I do not have a criminal history and I have refused to work on jobs that offered me positions because I did not want to work the shifts they were offering. I also asked can my child support amount be lowered than the $662 I pay monthly for those 3 children. I refuse to work because I am tired of paying her. She works and she can get food stamps from the State of Florida. Can they put me in jail and suspend my DL. My case is based out of Orange County, FL where the judges are not to bright. Can they put me in jail non-payment and not picking them up on every other weekend? I am trying to avoid jail that is all. Thanks for your response. AL

I believe you may want to delete your post - but I will leave that up to you. This site has a very LARGE readership.
I would say you have a chance of going to jail. And if your judge reads your post - that chance may increase.
