how do I get my ex in contempt of court
HI my divorce was final March 2008. My ex was ordered to pay 1/2 of my son's field trip in the Spring of 2009,and to start paying me an additional $200 a month for my school loan starting June 1, 2009. I also want to get the courts permission to relocate with my kids to another state. My ex is being charged with a 3rd degree felony and can go to jail for 5-15 yrs and I want to relocate with my kids to give a fresh new start. Whenever I ask the ex about this money he laughs at me and says get him for contempt. He also has not been paying his child support and I have to go to court next month on that threw child support enforcement cause he is fighting his license being suspended. I want to know what I can do before he goes to jail on the felony he committed. I want to get my kids out of this area to give them a new start and better environment away from all that there father has done her in this small town we live in. I have been told that once he is convicted on the felony I can petition the courts to have his parental rights terminated. But I want to get things taken care of now so the kids and I can get on with our lives.

I do not believe you can easily terminate his parental rights - even if he goes to prison.
You need to file a supplemental petition to relocate and get permission from the court. If he does not oppose the request it will be fairly easy.
