X Factor judge's divorce from soccer star completed

British X Factor judge and pop star, Cheryl Cole, has been granted a quickie divorce from her serial cheater soccer star husband, Ashley Cole.

The 27-year-old singer was granted a 'decree nisi' divorce on Friday morning at the High Court in London, just six months after the couple first split in February this year, following a four-year marriage.

The soccer player – who plays for the England national team and is one of the UK's highest paid sportsmen in the UK – had been the subject of a string of tabloid revelations about multiple infidelities with numerous women. He is thought to be salaried more than $125,000 every week playing for London soccer club, Chelsea.

Cheryl – whose fellow X Factor judge, Simon Cowell, is already referring to by her maiden name of Tweedy – had said she had no desire to make any claim on her husbands assets, due to her own lucrative earning power and fortune.

Cheryl is reported to be in negotiations to be a judge on the US version of the X Factor. She rose to fame in the UK herself as a contestant on an early incarnation of the talent show. She was picked on Popstars: The Rivals to become a member of extremely successful girl band, Girls Aloud.
