Parenting Classes - Divorce - Pinellas County

You must take a 4 hour parenting class as part of all Florida divorce cases with children. Here is a list of resources for the parenting class for Clearwater, St Petersburg, Tarpon Springs, and all of Pinellas County. For Pinellas County - you must take an in-person class.  Please note the prices are accurate at the time of this writing but are always subject to change. 

 

If you are going through a divorce and you have minor children or if you are involved in a paternity action where custody and/or visitation are being addressed, you must complete a Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course. Florida Statute §61.21 requires you to attend an approved, four (4) hour class in-person. Each parent must take and complete the course before the Court will grant the divorce.

Pinellas County REQUIRES parents to attend an in-person class. You cannot take an online class unless you receive a “Personal Attendance Waiver” from the Judge
