Witnesses and Evidence

Long before your final hearing you must gather and organize your evidence.  Florida law contains very technical requirements for the introduction of evidence.  Don't assume evidence brought to a final hearing will be considered by the court because you may have not properly complied with legal technicalities.

You should also organize your witnesses.   Each witness should serve a particular purpose - prove or disprove a key issue the court will consider.  After you consider what purpose each witness will serve, you should do several dry runs with each witness on what you will ask them during the hearing.

Florida law contains some technical requirements restricting what a witness can say.  In short, the law limits witness testimony to what they have personal knowledge of.  The law prohibits witnesses testifying about what they have heard from another person.
