    Default Past Due Child Support

    Hello,

I have an ongoing case for Divorce, and my soon to be ex husband is 2 months behind in child supporticon.. Soon will be 3 months. For my understanding, Isnt child support services or in my case Dept of Revenue supposed to enforce and/or retain his income tax refund, bank accnts, etc? There is no flag on his Driv. Lic...and he still got his Refund....How can this happen?? The attorney in charge of my case for Child Supp from DOR....has not even contacted me regarding this issue...and child support cannot do much either...all I get is we're Waiting on a payment!!!

An old saying: You get what you pay for. The DOR is a free government service. They are understaffed, underfunded, and do not have the duty of an attorney to represent your direct interests. I see some cases where they are all over everything. And then I see other cases where they are asleep.
