    Default Sole Custudy - DCF

    I have one minor child with ex, we were never married. I want to apply for sole custody based on his history of drug and alcohol abuse, and domestice violence during my pregnancy. He has served time in prison and jail.I was in an accident and he alleged I was DUI. I am under DCF investigation. Am I able to apply for sole custody once this investigation is over? Is it difficult to obtain?

    Sole custody is difficult. You will need to prove the other parent is unfit.
