    Default Child Support Modification deposition

I received a mediated divorce agreement two years ago in Polk Co. Fl. I am 57 and my adopted son is 11. I used to work as an ICU RN at Shands Hospital. During the divorce I experienced a heart attack. After the divorce I was hospitalized for depression. Three months ago I stepped down from my position due to chest pain and arthritis. I remain unemployed and I am living off money left to me from my Uncle's estate. I am no longer able to complete ICU requirements due to my health. I am employable via out patient clinics and home care which I find pays about 25% less. I am also enrolled in school to become a nurse practitioner. My existing funds will carry me for another 3 months and completion of school

I filed a motion to modify my child supporticon and I received a deposition notice. The only other assets I have are personal tangible belongings and my retirement funds. I furnished my ex with a brokers statement documenting I have neither contributed to or withdrawn any retirement assets. I revealed all income including interest and dividends from all accts. I keep reading child support is based on income and not assets. I have refused to give the the aggregate amounts since they can figure that out by the interest rates and interest. Am I within my rights to withhold the aggregate amounts since they only need to know what the interest is? They have already asked that I pay for all of their legal expenses and I fear if they see any free cash they will have no problem in attaching it irregardless of what my income is. I also did acted the acct numbers and brokers name do they have legal rights to my acct numbers.

One last item. I stated I will provide my medical documents in the judgeicon;s chambers in order to protect my health history and privacy from unauthorized personal. I have offered to provide them within a private mediation with my wife's attorney. What rights do I have when it comes to providing privacy for my medical and psychiatric medical records. This is relevant in my efforts to preserve my future employ ability considering I am an older male nurse

Most if not all financial info can be requested by the other party. Your effort to shield that info will most likely fail. So you may want to save some time and give up the requested info.

You may be able to partially shield your medical info. Talk with the judgeicon.

You said you filed a "motion." child supporticon is not modifiable by motion. You need to properly file a Supplemental Petition.
