Default No order in place - can I go on vacation with my daughter?

My ex and I were never married so there is no order in place. I now wish to take a 5 day vacation to New York. He was verbally notified a month ago but now he is becoming difficult (keeping her from me and verbally and emotionally abusing both of us. I just got her back after he kept her for 8 days). Can I just take her on vacation with me or can he file "parental kidnapping" charge out of spite? Again, there is no order or shared parentingicon plan in place as of yet. I am working on it...

    Take her on vacation.

If you are the natural birth mother, and there is no parentingicon plan in place - you cannot be arrested for kidnapping.
