    Default Behind in Alimony

    My ex is several thousand dollars behind in alimonyicon. Will the courts garnish his retirement check??If not can I put a lien against his coin collection,auto, or gun collection??? I really need my money.
    What will a filing of motion of contempt do? How long will the courts take when a MOC is filed?

    Yes, those are all available options.

    You normally have to arrange your own hearing time with the judgeicon's Judicial Assistant. Sometimes an internal case manager will set a hearing - but you cannot depend on that.
