    Default FL Dep of Rev vs a private lawyer?

    I’ve never employed a lawyer for any of my child supporticon matters. From 2001 I have used the Florida Department of Revenue’s child support services. If I hire a lawyer now, how does that change my status with them?

    You are allowed to have a private attorney at those hearings. The case would still be heard by a child supporticon Hearing Officer.

    Technically the attorney for the DOR does not represent you - they represent the DOR
