Never married. Vehicle in both names can it be fixed?

I'm just looking to find out if a car my girlfriend and I are both signed on can be separated to either one of us because of a breakup? I've made all the payments on the car, its my primary vehicle. Is there anyway we can have her name removed with legal help? Refinancing is not an option for me.

A court cannot force the lender to remove one name. Until you can refinance, the two of you are stuck.
